Job summary

Belron New Zealand is seeking a motivated Autoglass Technician to repair, replace and recalibrate vehicle glass. You’ll work hands-on with modern tools and provide expert advice to customers, helping upsell value-added products while delivering excellent service.

Based in Napier with a 30-hour roster across Monday to Sunday, the role offers comprehensive training toward a National Certificate in Automotive Reglazing (Level 3) NZQF and opportunities for overseas assignments within the Belron

Qualifications

• No prior Autoglass repair or replacement experience required; training provided.
• Valid clean driver's license (restricted or full).
• Unrestricted rights to work in New Zealand.
• Excellent communication in English.
• Motivated with a hands-on approach and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Hours: 30 hours, rostered across Monday - Sunday

What we’re looking for

Motivated people with a passion for hands-on work, and a genuine interest in advancing technical skills with a keen eye for detail.

No prior Autoglass repair and replacement experience is necessary as we provide comprehensive training.

A passion for exceptional customer service.

Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to upsell value-added products and services.

Physical capability to repetitively lift heavy items (up to 25kg) during a normal working day.

A clean driver's license (restricted or full class) is a minimum requirement.

You must have unrestricted rights to work in New Zealand.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test.
