Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions Auckland is seeking a Business Development Manager to hunt new opportunities across New Zealand, engaging with clients face-to-face and designing bespoke, technical container solutions that meet customer needs.

You will collaborate with estimating, engineering and production teams to convert opportunities, manage multi-stakeholder cycles, and maintain an accurate pipeline in Salesforce. Travel across NZ is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven success in outbound, solution-based business development.
• Ability to sell complex/customised solutions and manage long sales cycles.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to translate concepts for non-technical clients.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• CRM proficiency and strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to target key industries and open new business opportunities.
• Prospect and network to create opportunities across New Zealand.
• Collaborate with estimating, engineering and production teams to design and pitch bespoke solutions.
• Maintain accurate pipeline reporting, forecasting and customer activity in Salesforce.
• Lead negotiations and close sales with clearly documented terms.
• Monitor market trends to identify new growth opportunities.
