Job summary

PropellWorks Group is seeking a Business Development & Growth Manager to engage customers earlier and convert opportunities into profitable work across New Zealand. You will strengthen relationships with energy sector players, develop opportunities from transmission to generation, and collaborate with the GM, estimating, engineering and operations to shape the right responses and drive commercial close.

A small dispersed team will be led, with regular travel and a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• Proven track record converting qualified pipeline into secured, profitable work.
• Strong understanding of margins, risk, and contract quality.
• Ability to lead dispersed teams while staying close to customers.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen existing relationships with energy sector players across NZ.
• Develop opportunities across transmission, distribution, and generation.
• Shape responses with estimating, engineering and operations to close deals.
• Lead a small, geographically dispersed team (20–25%) and travel nationwide with a company vehicle.
