Job summary

Woolworths Group in New Zealand is seeking a Store Manager to lead store operations, drive trade activity and profitability, and deliver an outstanding shopping experience for customers across our NZ stores.

You will recruit, coach and develop a high-performing team, ensuring strong health and safety practices, stakeholder relationships, and a customer-first approach. Weekend shifts and occasional evenings are part of the role, with a focus on commercial success and team growth.

Qualifications

• Previous retail management experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage a retail operation with commercial success.
• Ability to build, maintain, and influence stakeholder relationships
• Team-first, customer-first approach to business
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, wellbeing legislation and best practice
• Ability to work four weekend shifts consisting of at least 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday per month and at least one evening each week (until store closure)
