Apex Car Rentals is hiring a Shuttle Driver to operate from Auckland Airport, transporting customers between the rental location, terminal, and office outside the airport in a safe, timely manner.

You will work full-time on 5 x 8-hour shifts across 7 days, with mornings, evenings, and weekends as required. A Class 1 licence, customer focus, and friendly service are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential.
• Good knowledge of the Auckland Airport area and safe driving between locations.
• Customer-focused, collaborative and adaptable with a can-do attitude.

Full-Time (40-Hours per week) position available Fixed-Term (until 31/3/2027) Auckland Airport based Large, global organisation with opportunity to move internally Supportive, friendly, and caring culture.

About the role

As our Shuttle Driver, you will transport our customers to and from the airport terminals and to and from our offices located just outside the Auckland airport in a safe and timely manner.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Shuttle customers from our rental location to the terminal and back
• Follow all speed limits and traffic guidelines whilst transporting customers.
• Assist customers in a helpful and friendly manner with any inquiries ensuring an excellent customer experience.

What we are looking for:

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential for this role.
• Good knowledge of the Airport and ability to drive safely between locations.
• Good interpersonal skills to allow you to build relationships not only customers but with the wider the team.
• A customer-focused, collaborative and adaptable approach with a can-do attitude to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Sense of pride and ownership in your role and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.

We work 7-days a week, Monday to Sunday, from 6.15 - 19.30 where in these full-time roles you will be scheduled to work on 5 x 8-hours shifts per week that could include early mornings, evenings and weekends as required.
