Job summary

Power Farming Bay of Plenty (Mt Maunganui) is seeking an experienced agriculture Service Technician to join our branch. The role offers permanent full-time employment, with 42.5 hours per week and standard hours Monday to Friday 7.30am–4.30pm.

You will work with leading brands such as Deutz Fahr, McHale, Väderstad, Kioti, and JCB, performing diagnostics and repair of tractors and machinery while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• A qualification in automotive heavy engineering or diesel mechanic.
• Excellence in diagnostics and a sound understanding of electronics and hydraulics.
• A full Driver’s license.
• Background in diagnostics and repair of agricultural tractors and machinery.
• Good communication skills to liaise with people at all levels.
• Ability to understand and manage customer expectations.
• A good level of physical fitness due to heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair agricultural tractors and machinery.
• Liaise with customers at all levels.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs, including electronics and hydraulics.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on site.
