Job summary

Power Farming, New Zealand’s leading agriculture distributor, is seeking an experienced Service Technician for our Te Awamutu branch. You will diagnose, repair, and service a range of tractors and equipment from brands like Deutz Fahr, McHale, and JCB.

You must have a qualification in automotive heavy engineering or diesel mechanics, strong diagnostic skills, and a full driver’s license. This permanent role offers a 40-hour week, paid overtime, and growth opportunities within a nationwide

Qualifications

• Excellent diagnostics and a sound understanding of electronics and hydraulics.
• A qualification in automotive heavy engineering or diesel mechanic.
• Full Driver’s license.
• Background in diagnostics and repair of agricultural tractors and machinery.
• Good communication skills to liaise with people at all levels.
• Ability to understand and manage customer expectations.
• Good physical fitness for heavy lifting.

You'll take realpride in your work and machinery itself. You'll be self-motivated, have excellent problem-solving skills and havea strong work ethic. You will need:

• A qualification in automotive heavyengineering or diesel mechanic
• Excellence in diagnostics and have a soundunderstanding of electronics and hydraulics.
• A full Driver’s license.
• A background in diagnostics and repair or agriculturaltractors and machinery
• Good communication skills to liaise withpeople at all levels.
• To understand and manage customerexpectations.
• A good level of physical fitness as there issome heavy lifting involved.
