Job summary

Power Farming Invercargill Ltd in Invercargill, New Zealand, is seeking an Apprentice Service Technician to start a hands-on career with world-class agricultural machinery.

You will undertake a structured apprenticeship supported through MITO, with the option to complete a NZQA-recognised New Zealand Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering (Agricultural Equipment) Level 3 & 4. On-the-job training, block courses and paid work experience are included.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; great attitude and willingness to learn.
• Interest in mechanics, agriculture or engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified technicians with servicing and repairs.
• Learn to diagnose faults in agricultural machinery.
• Work with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Complete MITO training modules and logbook requirements.

As an Apprentice Service Technician, you will:

• Assistqualified technicians with servicing, maintenance and repairs

• CompleteMITO training modules, workplace assessments, and logbook requirements
• Maintaina safe and organised workshop environment
• Developstrong technical and customer service skills
