About the Role

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys getting out and about, working directly with customers, and tackling a variety of mechanical challenges. One day you might be carrying out scheduled servicing, the next you’re diagnosing a breakdown on site and getting a customer's equipment back to work when they need it most. If you’re a qualified technician with strong fault‑finding skills and a practical approach, we’d love to hear from you.

You will work with world‑class machinery and equipment from leading brands including Kubota, Kuhn and Landini, making this an ideal opportunity for a diesel mechanic who enjoys variety and taking ownership of their work.

What you will do

You will be required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week within our core business days and hours of Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and also participate in a roster to provide on‑call support to Norwood customers.

Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Servicing and maintaining agricultural, construction and industrial machinery and equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic faults
  • Completing service reports and job documentation accurately
  • Working closely with our parts, sales and service teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes
  • Building strong relationships with customers through clear communication and reliable service
What you will bring

You’ll be someone who takes pride in your work, enjoys solving problems, and wants to deliver quality service every time.

We’ll be looking for:

  • Heavy automotive trade qualification and/or at least 3 years’ experience in repairs & servicing of heavy machinery.
  • Experience working on agricultural, construction, industrial or similar heavy equipment
  • Strong technical knowledge and advanced skills in diagnosis, repairs and servicing.
  • Computer skills including the use of OEM diagnostic software.
  • A strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
  • A commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and getting the job done right
