Job summary

Power Farming Invercargill Ltd is offering an Apprenticeship as a Service Technician in Invercargill. This hands-on opportunity lets you work with world-class agricultural machinery while completing an MITO-supported apprenticeship.

You will learn servicing, diagnostics and repair skills, gain exposure to hydraulic and electrical systems, and participate in on-the-job training with experienced technicians. A driver’s licence and a strong work ethic are valued.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Must be currently working towards a driver’s licence.
• Physically fit and able to work in a hands-on environment.

About the role:

As an Apprentice Service Technician, you will:

• Assistqualified technicians with servicing, maintenance and repairs
• Learnto diagnose faults in agricultural machinery and equipment
• Workwith mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
• CompleteMITO training modules, workplace assessments, and logbook requirements
• Maintaina safe and organised workshop environment
• Developstrong technical and customer service skills

• Keeninterest in mechanics, agriculture or engineering
• Motivated,reliable and committed to completing an apprenticeship qualification
• Strongwork ethic and willingness to learn
• Goodproblem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Abilityto follow instructions and work as part of a team
