Our client is a security and locksmith specialist working across government, financial, corporate, defence and industrial sectors.
We are looking for a Service Coordinator to be the key point of contact for service requests, from first enquiry through to completion. This is a hands‑on coordination role. You'll juggle competing priorities, keep customers and technicians in the loop, and make sure every job is handled promptly, accurately and professionally. It suits someone proactive and solutions‑focused who genuinely enjoys keeping things moving.
Field enquiries and coordinate service requests from customers and the Sales team, ensuring requests are recorded, prioritised and actioned in line with company procedures
Coordinate maintenance and service work by creating tasks and work orders, arranging required materials, stock and transportation, and activating maintenance work according to schedule
Liaise with customers, Operations Managers and technicians to monitor progress, provide updates and ensure customer requirements and SLAs are met
Maintain accurate service information in Uptick, including technician entries, customer portals, documentation, contract costs and information required for invoicing
Support the wider team with purchase orders, inventory management, branch administration and providing general assistance to field staff and Operations Managers
Demonstrated experience in a fast‑paced service environment is essential
Experience from a field‑service or trades environment such as fire protection, HVAC, electrical, facilities/building maintenance, or telecommunications is highly regarded
A strong customer service focus and a genuine commitment to providing a great service experience for clients
Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent attention to detail
A basic understanding of electrical, security and/or data communication terminology is advantageous
$75,000 - $80,000 per annum plus KiwiSaver
Full-time, permanent role based in Mt Wellington
