Macaulay Motors in Queenstown is seeking a friendly Service Advisor to be the first point of contact for customers in our busy Service Department. You’ll schedule service appointments, prepare repair quotes, process orders, and communicate with technicians to ensure visits run smoothly.
Experience in automotive or service-advisor roles is helpful but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn will be supported with training.

We’re looking for a motivated Service Advisor to join our busy Service Department in Queenstown. This is a key customer-facing role where you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, helping make sure every service visit runs smoothly and their needs are looked after.
Experience in an automotive or Service Advisor role would be an advantage, but it’s not essential. If you have the right attitude, great communication skills and a willingness to learn, we’ll provide the training and support to help you succeed and build your career with us.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you’ll be an important part of our friendly and supportive team.

Greeting customers and being the first point of contact for service enquiries
Scheduling service appointments and managing customer bookings
Processing repair orders, quotes and invoices
Listening to and understanding customer concerns, then communicating these to our technicians
Helping to qualify vehicle issues and coordinate service work
Estimating repair time and costs, with training provided where needed
Keeping customers updated throughout the service process
Coordinating internal service work to meet deadlines and customer expectations
Building strong relationships with customers and ensuring they receive excellent service
Enjoys working with people and genuinely cares about customer service
Is organised, efficient and able to juggle multiple tasks
Has strong time management and attention to detail
Is comfortable using computers and learning new systems
Works well as part of a team and has a positive attitude
Is keen to learn and develop their skills
Has a current NZ driver license and is confident driving both manual and automatic vehicles of all sizes
Experience in a Service Advisor, automotive, administration or customer-facing role would be an advantage, but we’re also open to someone at the beginning of their career who is keen to learn and grow.
