Job summary

Air New Zealand is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to design, build and enhance the platforms that support our customer care teams, delivering seamless service interactions for travellers across Aotearoa and beyond.

You will join the Seamless Service Interactions squad within Connected Customer Experience, blending hands-on development with technical leadership and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions.
• Strong understanding of Azure services and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions for customer and employee experiences.
• Build secure, scalable integrations between Dynamics 365 and enterprise apps using Azure services and REST APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, engineers and stakeholders to translate needs into robust technical solutions.
• Drive engineering excellence with automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews and improvements.
• Take ownership of complex technical challenges to improve platform reliability and maintainability.
• Mentor and support other engineers, raising technical capability across the squad.
