Job summary

Fusion5 is seeking a Senior Technical Support Consultant to join the Dynamics 365 CE & Power Platform team in Australia. You’ll own complex customer issues, resolve them end-to-end, and drive proactive support outcomes across the Power Platform landscape.

Based in New Zealand (Auckland/Wellington/Christchurch) with Melbourne hours alignment, you’ll work in a high‑caliber managed services environment, mentoring others and delivering lasting customer value.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Dynamics 365 CE and Dataverse in complex environments.
• Deep knowledge of Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages.
• Experience with Azure integration services such as Functions, Logic Apps and Service Bus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Background in managed services or application support environments.
• Proactive, self-driven, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Interest in mentoring others and contributing to continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of customer issues across Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform, from triage to resolution.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse and the wider Power Platform.
• Act as an escalation point for high-impact or technically challenging incidents.
• Operate independently to resolve issues, minimising reliance on delivery teams where possible.
• Provide clear, timely, well-structured communication to customers translating technical detail into outcomes.
• Support Australian customers, building relationships while aligning with local hours.
• Identify recurring issues and proactively drive improvements and prevention.
• Maintain thorough case documentation, including RCA and resolution details.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor junior team members and help grow capability within the practice.
