Job summary

Westpac New Zealand is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help modernise our contact centre platforms. You will code hands-on, design solutions, and mentor teammates across Dynamics 365 CE, APIs and middleware.

You’ll contribute to CI/CD, automation, testing and production support, while collaborating with product and platform teams to deliver reliable customer experiences. This is a hands-on role requiring architectural input, active coding, and participation in solution design,

Qualifications

Experience developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE solutions.
Knowledge of contact centre domain.
Experience with APIs, middleware, CI/CD, automated testing and production support.
Strong problem-solving and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Microsoft Dynamics and contact centre platform solutions.
Build and support integrations using APIs and middleware.
Apply CI/CD, automation, testing and DevOps practices.
Support production systems and drive continuous improvement.
Mentor engineers and contribute to strong engineering practices.
This is a hands-on role, where you will actively contribute to coding, participate in architectural decisions and involve in solution design.
Monitor and troubleshoot system performance on an ad-hoc basis.
