Job summary

WorkSafe New Zealand (MahiHaumaruAotearoa) is seeking a Technical Solutions Lead to own the architecture and delivery of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. You will guide cross‑functional teams, translate business needs into robust designs, and drive improvements across security and performance.

You will have 5–7 years of senior Microsoft-focused experience, lead 4 direct reports, and work within a 12-month fixed-term contract in Wellington.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum 5-7 years' experience in solution architecture or senior technical roles within enterprise Microsoft environments.
Strong hands-on experience designing and delivering solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.
Proven experience leading technical teams and providing architectural direction.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end architecture and technical direction of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
Translate complex business needs into scalable, secure solution designs and data models.
Provide hands-on technical leadership across delivery teams and enforce best-practice standards.
Ensure solutions are secure, compliant and performant.
Design and oversee integrations with enterprise systems and data flows.
