Job summary

Westpac New Zealand is seeking a high-impact Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking to own a dynamic portfolio of corporate clients across NZ. You will provide expert lending advice, tailor financial solutions, and deepen client relationships while coordinating with product specialists and analysts to deliver value.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will drive opportunities, structure credit submissions, and ensure risk and compliance standards are met, contributing to Westpac's market

Qualifications

• Proven track record in corporate or business banking.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement.
• Solid knowledge of credit, risk, and pricing.
• Understanding of NZ corporate market and economy.
• Excellent communication and networking skills.
• Growth mindset to advance in Corporate Banking.
• Ideally 5+ years of relevant banking experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate customers with excellent service.
• Build enduring relationships with clients, brokers, and accountants.
• Identify and execute new business opportunities aligned to customer needs.
• Lead industry insights and sector knowledge.
• Structure and contribute to high-quality credit submissions.
• Ensure compliance with risk, AML and CCCFA requirements.
• Represent Westpac in markets and networks.
