Job summary
Westpac New Zealand is seeking a Senior Relationship Associate for its Property Finance team in Wellington. You will partner with Relationship Managers to manage a sophisticated property finance portfolio, delivering growth, risk management, and strategic support across customer opportunities.

Qualifications
- Sound experience within property finance and related banking.
- Proven credit assessment and financial analysis capability.
- Ability to assess complex lending structures and identify risks.
- Strong communication and stakeholder influence.
Responsibilities
- Act as a senior portfolio specialist supporting a complex property portfolio.
- Partner with Relationship Managers to deliver growth, retention, and risk outcomes.
- Lead preparation of high-quality credit submissions with complex lending structures.
- Undertake financial modelling, feasibility assessment, and transaction analysis.
- Monitor portfolio risk and covenant performance.
- Provide market insight and sector intelligence for customer conversations.
- Coach less experienced team members and act as escalation point.
