Job summary

Westpac NZ in Wellington seeks a Senior Relationship Associate to join our Corporate Banking team. The role combines advanced credit capability, portfolio management and customer engagement across complex corporate relationships.

Working with an experienced Senior Relationship Manager, you will lead credit analysis, submissions and support complex lending proposals while actively managing portfolio risk and fostering client relationships across the NZ market.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate, commercial or institutional banking or credit-focused environment.
• Strong financial analysis, credit assessment and credit writing capability.
• Experience supporting complex lending structures and managing portfolio risk.
• Excellent communication and ownership of deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-quality credit analysis and submissions for complex lending proposals.
• Support lending proposals and proactively manage portfolio risk.
• Contribute to customer meetings, account planning and new business opportunities.
• Build trusted relationships and connect customers with Westpac expertise.
