Westpac New Zealand is seeking a Senior Relationship Associate for its Property Finance team in Auckland. You will partner with Relationship Managers to manage a sophisticated property finance portfolio and deliver growth, risk management, and client outcomes.

You will bring deep property sector knowledge, strong credit and financial modelling capability, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, advisers and internal stakeholders.

• Sound experience in property finance or related commercial banking fields.
• Proven credit assessment and financial analysis capability.
• Ability to assess complex lending structures and identify transaction risks.

• Act as a senior portfolio specialist for a complex property loan portfolio.
• Partner with Relationship Managers to deliver growth, retention, and risk outcomes.
• Lead high-quality credit submissions involving complex lending structures.
• Conduct detailed financial modelling and feasibility assessments.
• Monitor portfolio risk, covenant performance and market developments.
• Identify emerging risks and mitigation strategies.
• Maintain strong portfolio management disciplines through annual reviews.
