Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior/Principal Engineer in Asset and Network Performance (Transportation/Roading) to join the Paeroa Civil Infrastructure team. The role focuses on roading asset management and network performance, embedded with a key client in the Thames-Coromandel region, delivering strategic advice and practical project support five days a week.

You will apply asset management standards and data analytics, manage client outcomes, and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver technically

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 8–10 years in a comparable civil engineering role with asset management and network performance.
Chartered Professional Engineer status or progress toward accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic asset management and network performance advisory services for transportation projects.
Deliver asset information management guidance, data analytics and related deliverables.
Apply NZ Standards, codes of practice and emerging ISO standards to projects.
Lead asset management projects with scope, programme, budget, quality and risk oversight.
Provide project leadership across multidisciplinary teams and ensure efficient delivery.
