Job summary

WSP Paeroa Civil Infrastructure team seeks a Senior or Principal Engineer to lead asset and network performance work for transportation projects in the Thames-Coromandel region. You will work embedded with a key client five days a week, providing strategic advice, technical guidance and practical project support.

You will apply asset management standards and data analytics to improve asset information, lead multidisciplinary teams, and help grow our asset management services across the region

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years of civil engineering experience with asset management.
• Chartered Engineer status or progress toward accreditation.
• NZ government and NZTA experience preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic asset management and network performance advisory services.
• Lead asset information management and data analytics deliverables.
• Apply asset management standards and NZ standards.
• Manage project scope, programme, budget, quality, and risk.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the region.
• Build client relationships and support growth of asset management services.
