Job summary

WSP Paeroa Civil Infrastructure team is seeking a Senior or Principal Engineer to advance roading asset management and network performance. You will work embedded with a key client five days a week in the Thames-Coromandel region, providing strategic advice, technical expertise and practical project delivery.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 8–10+ years in a comparable role, with Chartered status or progress toward accreditation, plus experience in project management, client

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline.
Chartered Professional Engineer status or progress towards accreditation.
Experience in asset management, network performance and data analytics.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and advisory asset management and network performance consultancy services across transportation infrastructure projects.
Deliver asset information management advice, data analytics and asset management deliverables.
Apply asset management standards, legislation, codes of practice and NZ standards.
Lead delivery of asset management projects, managing scope, programme, budget, quality and risk.
Provide project leadership across multidisciplinary teams and ensure high-quality delivery.
Build trusted client relationships and grow asset management and data services in the region and nationally.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists to deliver client-focused outcomes.
