Job summary

Drummond and Etheridge in Rolleston is seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to support our Construction and Forestry segment. You will engage with customers, advise on equipment suitability, manage existing clients and develop new business while acting as a strong brand ambassador.

You will conduct equipment demonstrations and customer events, and implement regular call cycles with thorough sales documentation to drive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of the construction and forestry industry.
• 2+ years of proven sales experience desirable.
• Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills.
• Organisation and drive to successfully manage time and achieve sales outcomes.
• Competence using IT systems and learning new software quickly.

A unique opportunity presents itself for an experienced Sales Consultant to join the team at our Rolleston branch supporting our Construction and Forestry segment.

About the Role

• Engaging with customers to provide professional advice on the suitability of our range of equipment for their individual needs.
• Managing an existing client base to further develop relationships and generate new business.
• Being an outstanding brand ambassador.
• Conducting equipment demonstrations and customer events.
• Implementing regular call cycles and maintaining sales documentation.

About You

• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the construction and forestry industry.
• Sound experience with modern machinery and management technology systems.
• 2+ years of proven sales experience is desirable.
