Job summary

Aon in the Canterbury region is seeking a client-focused SME specialist to deliver high-quality support to existing and new clients. You will own an SME portfolio, promote services, manage risk, and work with the wider team to ensure a seamless client experience.

This role offers hybrid working, a focus on rural/agri clients, and the opportunity to build lasting relationships locally while collaborating with Claims, ABS and other colleagues to deliver effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end client journey, working with Claims teams and ABS colleagues to ensure smooth, timely support.
• Lead renewal and mid-term discussions, ensuring advice is timely and aligned with client needs.
• Contribute to client planning alongside Client Directors/Managers.
• Assist in optimizing systems and processes to drive efficiency and compliance.
• Champion continuous improvement using data insights to deliver high-quality outcomes.
