Job summary

Ibis Tainui Hamilton, part of the Accor group, is seeking a Head of Department – Food & Beverage to lead guest experience across Conferencing, Bar & Restaurant in Hamilton CBD.

You will demonstrate passion for F&B, empower staff, and drive financial performance with a hands-on leadership style. Eligibility to work in New Zealand and GM licence with LCQ are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Food & Beverage management role.
• GM licence and LCQ required.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
• Strong customer focus with hands-on leadership.
• Knowledge of liquor guidelines and Micros software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead guest experience within Conferencing, Bar & Restaurant.
• Demonstrate passion and knowledge of Food & Beverage to the team.
• Empower staff to animate the Food & Beverage experience.
• Manage and exceed F&B financial performance targets.
• Maintain strong communication with staff, suppliers and guests.

Job Description

• You are responsible for developing and leading the guest experience within Conferencing, Bar & Restaurant
