Job summary

Ibis Tainui Hamilton, a prominent Accor hotel in Hamilton, seeks a Senior Head of Department to lead Conferencing, Bar & Restaurant with a strong F&B focus.

You will guide guest experiences, drive financial performance, and empower a hands-on team to deliver exceptional service in a vibrant hotel setting.

Qualifications

• GM licence and LCQ are required.
• Minimum of 2 years in a Food & Beverage management role.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
• Ability to meet and exceed F&B financial targets.

Job Description

• You are responsible for developing and leading the guest experience within Conferencing, Bar & Restaurant


• To demonstrate passion and a strong knowledge of Food & Beverage to the team


• Empowering staff to animate the Food & Beverage experience


• Senior Role – Head of Department

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills shown to staff, suppliers and guests


• GM licence and LCQ


• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a Food & Beverage management role


• Eligibility to work in New Zealand


• Ability to manage and exceed F & B financial performance targets


• A strong customer focus


• Must have a supportive/hands on management style


• Knowledge of Micros software is preferred


• Strong understanding of all Sale and supply of liquor guidelines.
