Job summary

Ibis in Waikato, New Zealand, is seeking a Head of Department to lead the guest experience across Conferencing, Bar and Restaurant. You will demonstrate passion for Food & Beverage and guide the team to deliver exceptional service.

This senior role requires a GM licence and LCQ, with a minimum of two years in F&B management and a strong customer focus. You will drive financial performance and mentor staff in a hands-on leadership style.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with staff, suppliers and guests.
• GM licence and LCQ.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a Food & Beverage management role.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
• Ability to manage and exceed F&B financial performance targets.
• A strong customer focus.
• Supportive hands-on management style.
• Knowledge of Micros software is preferred.
• Strong understanding of sale and supply of liquor guidelines.
