Job summary

Radius Care in Tauranga is seeking a registered nurse for a fixed-term, part‑time position roughly 18 hours a week on a rotating 24/7 roster. You will conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, monitor residents’ conditions, administer medicines, and support daily activities to promote person-centred care.

Location:RadiusAlthorp, 9 Grantston Drive, Pyes Pa, Tauranga

Hours of work:Part time, approx 18 hours per week, over a rotating, 24/7 roster (including weekends and public holidays)

Duration: from 01/11/2026 to 17/01/2027, to cover employees who have gone on a period of leave

About the role

Gain valuable experience in person-centred care, and enhance your critical thinking skills. Complete patient assessments and care plans. Provide exceptional care, while evaluating outcomes for residents and their families. Monitor changes to residents’ conditions and behaviours. Administer medicines, and assist residents with daily activities.

Duties include

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and documents
• Educate and direct peers about possible side-effects of medicines
• Monitor residents and initiate appropriate treatment in an emergency
• Wound management
• Reassuring and educating residents’ families
