About us

Bryce O’Sullivan Contracting Ltd (BOSCO) is a well-established and highly regarded civil contracting firm servicing Wellington and the lower North Island. We specialise in civil construction, earth-moving, drainage infrastructure, roading and subdivision infrastructure.

Over the years BOSCO has grown from delivering residential site-works to managing large-scale infrastructure, earthworks and quarry / roading projects for private and public sector clients.

We pride ourselves on delivering quality workmanship, reliable project delivery and strong client relationships — grounded in honesty, capability and a “get-it-done” mentality.

The role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Contracts Manager to join our team and play a central role in delivering civil construction projects across the region. Key duties include:

  • Take full responsibility for project delivery — from contract award through to completion.
  • Manage all aspects of project planning, scheduling, resourcing and reporting.
  • Oversee contract administration: contract documentation, claims/variations, cost control, progress claims and invoicing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with on-site foremen and site teams to coordinate works, monitor progress, address issues, and ensure quality and safety standards.
  • Manage communication with clients, providing updates and handling any disputes professionally.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
  • Support site operations by removing roadblocks, coordinating resources, and facilitating site-to-office liaison.

  • Strong knowledge of civil construction disciplines: earthworks, drainage, roading, land development, subdivision infrastructure.
  • Excellent contract administration (with an emphasis on NZS3910 contracts) and financial management capabilities
  • Great communication and stakeholder management skills, with a solutions orientated approach.
  • Solid organisational and planning skills; able to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with site foremen and teams, and to support on-site operations from an office / administrative position when needed.
  • Results-driven attitude and team player.
Why join BOSCO?

You’ll be joining a close-knit, highly experienced and down-to-earth team that prides itself on quality workmanship, strong client service, and delivering great results with a no-nonsense approach to getting the job done. Additionally, you will get:
