We're growing and we're looking for the right Project Manager to grow with us.

About the role

We're looking for a highly motivated junior project manager to join our team and support the successful delivery of civil construction and land development projects from commencement through to completion.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in civil construction who is ready to take the next step in their career and develop their project management skills. You'll work closely with the general manager, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients, gaining hands‑on experience across all aspects of project delivery.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead the successful delivery of civil construction and land development projects
  • Develop and manage project programmes to achieve key milestones and deadlines
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and site teams
  • Manage project budgets, claims, forecasting and financial performance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Ensure projects meet all health, safety, environmental and quality requirements
  • Manage contracts, variations and project reporting
  • Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
  • Foster a positive team culture focused on safety, quality and delivery
About you
  • Proven experience managing civil construction, land development, or infrastructure projects
  • Strong commercial acumen with some experience managing project budgets and contracts
  • Excellent planning, organisation and programme management skills
  • Experience leading subcontractors and coordinating multiple stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of New Zealand civil construction practices
  • A positive attitude toward health & safety
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa required
