Zan Services Limited, Auckland, is seeking an organised Residential Project Coordinator to support residential building projects from planning through to completion. The role requires coordinating schedules, orders, deliveries and communications with clients, subcontractors and authorities to ensure on-time delivery.
Applicants should have at least 1 year in the industry or a bachelor’s degree (Level 7+), and be able to read plans.

We are seeking one organised and proactive Residential Project Coordinator to support residential building projects from planning through to construction completion.

Coordinate residential building projects, including project schedules, milestones and work programmes.
Coordinate communication and project activities with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, engineers, quantity surveyors and local authorities.
Coordinate subcontractor schedules, site inspections, construction activities and follow‑up actions to ensure timely project delivery.
Coordinate procurement, ordering, transportation and delivery of construction materials, tools and equipment.
Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations and assist with negotiating prices, supply agreements, delivery timeframes and subcontractor arrangements.
Maintain project documentation, correspondence, quotations, procurement records, schedules and subcontractor information.
Monitor project progress against schedules and milestones, identify delays or issues, and provide regular progress reports to the Project Manager and clients.
Communicate regularly with clients regarding project progress, upcoming construction activities, changes, delays and matters requiring attention.
Coordinate the resolution of project issues and follow up agreed actions under the direction of the Project Manager.
Assist the Project Manager with project planning, resource allocation, reporting and implementation of management decisions.
Coordinate inspections and project activities to support compliance with building requirements, health and safety requirements and project specifications.
Monitor material allocation, availability and usage, and follow up supply or delivery issues that may affect project schedules.
Applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job:
At least 1 year’s work experience in relevant industry OR a bachelor qualification is required in level 7 or above
Able to work independently as well as a team
Ability to read plans and specifications Working under pressure
Positive attitude and good work ethic
Strong organisational, communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple project activities
Work effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
