Job summary

Orange Homes 2019 in Canterbury is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead high-quality residential builds. You will manage multiple projects, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure on-time delivery within budget.

You will monitor timelines, budgets, and quality standards, communicate with clients to realise their vision, and collaborate with designers to achieve seamless delivery. A builder background and site carpentry experience are preferred, with a strong commitment

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing residential construction projects.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality homes.
• Builder experience is preferred.
• Carpentry or site LBP is a plus.
• A deep understanding of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the lifecycle of residential construction projects.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site activities.

The Role

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality residential builds. You will manage multiple projects, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure every build meets our exacting standards of quality, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the lifecycle of residential construction projects.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and onsite activities.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their vision is realized.
• Collaborate with our in-house designers and subcontractors to achieve seamless project delivery.
• Manage risk and proactively solve project-related challenges.
• Undertake Quality checks of our projects.
• Assist with Health and Safety processes.

About You:

• Proven experience in project management within the residential construction industry.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with clients, team members, and subcontractors.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality homes.
• Experience as a builder preferred.
• Carpentry or site LBP preferred.
