Job summary

Zan Services Limited, Auckland, is seeking an organised Residential Project Coordinator to support residential building projects from planning through to completion. The role requires coordinating schedules, orders, deliveries and communications with clients, subcontractors and authorities to ensure on-time delivery.

Applicants should have at least 1 year in the industry or a bachelor’s degree (Level 7+), and be able to read plans.

Qualifications

At least 1 year experience in residential construction or related industry.
Bachelor qualification Level 7 or above.
Ability to read plans and specifications.
Strong organisational, communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate project schedules, milestones and work programmes.
Coordinate communication with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, engineers, QS and authorities.
Coordinate subcontractor schedules, site inspections and construction activities for timely delivery.
Coordinate procurement, ordering, transport and delivery of materials, tools and equipment.
Obtain and compare quotations and assist with price negotiations and subcontractor arrangements.
Maintain project documentation, quotations, procurement records and subcontractor information.
Monitor progress against schedules and provide regular reports.
Communicate with clients regarding progress, changes, delays and issues.
Assist planning, resource allocation and reporting under the Project Manager.
Coordinate inspections to support building, health and safety compliance.
