Job summary

AUT’s City Campus hosts a permanent, full-time Programme Administration role focused on supporting students from admission through graduation. You will collaborate with staff across faculties to deliver accurate, timely administrative guidance and course information, while upholding AUT’s values and Te Tiriti commitments.

We’re seeking a motivated team player who can manage peak periods, balance multiple duties, and contribute to a welcoming, student-centred environment across AUT campuses.

Qualifications

  • Proven tertiary experience in a similar role/field.
  • A genuine passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.
  • Initiative, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Great inter-personal skills with the ability to balance your own responsibilities while contributing to shared team goals and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of the student journey from admission and enrolment through to graduation.
  • Be a key contact for students and staff, delivering effective administration processes and course guidance.
  • Navigate peak enrolment periods and complex programme regulations to ensure accurate, timely advice.
  • Interact with AUT teams to support an inclusive, student-centred journey that reflects Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

We’re looking for a motivated and conscientious team player to join our Faculty’s programme administration team. In this dynamic and people-focused role, you’ll be a key contact for students and staff, supporting all aspects of the student journey from admission and enrolment through to graduation. Your work will play a vital role in enhancing the student experience through the delivery of effective administration processes and course guidance. Challenges include managing peak enrolment periods, and navigating the complexities of different programmes and regulations to ensure students receive accurate, timely advice.

This is a permanent, full-time role reports to the Programme Manager – Business Undergraduate, and you’ll be interacting with key teams across AUT to support an inclusive, student-centred journey, with respectful practice that recognises the importance ofTe Tiriti o Waitangi.

As a professional staff member at AUT, you’ll help our university thrive by improving services, supporting students and staff and driving practical improvements across our campuses. We’re looking for people with energy, curiosity and openness to new ideas who bring a collaborative, adaptable approach and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

You’ll also bring cultural humility and respect for Te Tiriti o Waitangi , Indigenous peoples and diverse communities. Experience supporting Indigenous, equity or inclusion-focused initiatives is highly valued.

  • Salary Ranges | Ngā Utu: $62,000 - $81,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
