Job summary

Auckland University of Technology (AUT) seeks a proactive HR Administration professional to provide first-line HR support and manage employee lifecycle tasks from recruitment to resignation. Based at the City Campus, you’ll handle queries, keep intranet current, and support People & Culture with admin needs in a busy, inclusive environment.

You will bring a team‑oriented mindset, strong organisational skills and a commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion as AUT continues to grow and support

Reporting to the Operations Manager - Shared Services, you will provide first-line support for all aspects of HR administration during the employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to resignation. This is a highly active position suited to someone who enjoys staying busy and managing competing priorities. Your tasks will include answering first-level enquiries, keeping our intranet up to date, managing the organisation’s hierarchy/positions, and preparing changes to terms and conditions. You will also support our colleagues' administrative needs across People & Culture to ensure we deliver an outstanding HR experience. Skills and Experience

  • Salary Ranges | Ngā Utu: $62,000 - $81,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
