Job summary

Oranga Tamariki in Wellington is seeking an Assessor to help ensure compliance with the Privacy Act and Official Information Act. You will assess customer information requests, review files and make informed, risk-based decisions about the information we can share.

This role requires handling sensitive data, working with other Oranga Tamariki teams and external agencies, and communicating clearly with customers.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the Privacy Act and Official Information Act.
• Experience with risk assessing and problem-solving.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
• Knowledge of cross-cultural practices, particularly tikanga Māori and Pacific cultures.

Responsibilities
