Are you a highly organised and proactive administrator looking for a varied role supporting a busy team?

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support within a busy Canterbury business. This is a dynamic position where your attention to detail, time management and ability to work autonomously will be key to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

About the Business

Our client is an established business based in Canterbury. The team works closely together to deliver a high standard of service to clients and stakeholders, and is looking for an experienced PA to help keep the day-to-day running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diary & Correspondence Management: Manage diaries, correspondence and daily priorities for senior staff.
  • Coordination: Coordinate appointments and bookings, liaising with clients, suppliers and colleagues as required.
  • Reporting: Prepare letters, reports and other documentation as required.
  • Administration: Maintain accurate records and files, and ensure effective email communication with relevant parties.
  • Accounts Management: Assist with invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and GST requirements, liaising with the external accountant as required.
  • Professional Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders.
  • Reception & General Administration: Provide reception and phone support, stock ordering and other general administrative duties as required.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar PA or administration role is desirable.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
