Job summary

Playcentre Aotearoa is seeking a Centre Coordinator to work 7.5 hours per week across a Monday and a Thursday session. The role focuses on empowering whānau, building adult capability and confidence, and supporting a whānau-led centre environment.

As Person Responsible on session, you will provide pedagogical guidance and ensure Playcentre philosophy informs sessions, enriching children's learning and development. NZ residency or visa is required.

Qualifications

• Must be confident with Te Whāriki and ECE regulations.
• First Aid certification or ability to obtain one.
• NZ residency or valid NZ work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Support whānau to become first educators through child-led curriculum experiences.
• Model and support high-quality, whānau-led sessions.
• Provide guidance on curriculum, adult education and health and safety.
• Ensure sessions meet regulatory requirements including Health and Safety.
