Job Description

We are looking for a business development manager to take chargeofbusiness, here in Dunedin, New Zealand. We offer a competitveremuneration package, and a minimum of 30 guaranteed hours a week

The salary ranges from $33.00 -$40.00 perhour, depending upon experience

The tasks that you will complete are:

• formulating and administering company policy around growth and strategy,
  and ensuring that the business grows its market share throughout Dunedin
• establishing and directing operational and administrative procedures
• implementing, monitoring and evaluating budgetary and accounting
  strategies and policies, ensuring that the business operates at budget or to a
  surplus.
• providing advice to senior management and the business owners on the direction of the business, strategic plans, and future growth opportunities.
• Should be able to prepare strategic roadmaps for the future development of the business, based upon market trends, to show to stakeholders and owners.
• ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and standards
  controlling selection, training and performance of staff , ensuring that trainingrecords are maintained, and ensure that policies are in place to train staff with new equipment and chemicals.
• representing the organisation at conventions, in negiotiations with suppliers,and at any public forum or place where a representative of the business isrequired.
  You will need to have:
  At least two years of relevant experience, or a relelvant bachelor's degreeor or higher qualification.
  Ideally, some industry expereince in dealing with stakeholders, clients, and promoting our product.
  The ability to hit the ground running, and work with a large team.
