Job summary

Motion Asia Pacific in Dunedin, New Zealand seeks a Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives, shape company policy around growth and strategy, and drive market share across Dunedin. You will develop and monitor budgets, advise senior management on direction and opportunities, and prepare strategic roadmaps based on market trends, while ensuring compliance and staff training standards.

Qualifications

At least two years of relevant experience, or a relevant bachelor's degree or higher.
Ideally experience with stakeholders, clients, and promoting the product.
Ability to hit the ground running, and work with a large team.

Responsibilities

Formulating and administering policy around growth and strategy to increase Dunedin market share.
Establishing and directing operational and administrative procedures.
Implementing, monitoring and evaluating budgetary and accounting strategies and policies.
Providing advice to senior management on business direction and growth opportunities.
Preparing strategic roadmaps for future development based on market trends.
Ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations and staff training policies.
Representing the organisation at conventions, negotiations with suppliers, and public forums.
