Job summary

Partners Life Limited in Auckland is seeking an experienced Operations Data Analyst to join the newly established Service Enablement team within Operations. You will shape how we use data to understand performance, identify opportunities, and make better decisions across our operational value streams.

You will work closely with operational leaders, Value Leads, customer-facing teams, and specialist partners to develop meaningful measures, reporting, dashboards, and analytical insights.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports with BI tools.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
• Experience in insurance or financial services is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to design, develop and improve operational measures and dashboards.
• Create dashboards and analytical views and translate them into clear recommendations.
• Analyse trends, performance drivers, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Establish baselines, track benefits and support post-implementation reviews.
• Promote data quality, governance and reporting consistency across Operations.
• Support continuous improvement by prioritising opportunities and validating requirements.
• Assist with UAT by validating data, reports and business requirements.
• Foster a culture of curiosity and evidence-based decision making.
