Job summary

Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities is seeking a People Data Analyst to join our People Systems and Intelligence team. You will deliver workforce analytics, reporting, and insights to support enterprise transformation and inform decision-making during change initiatives.

In this role you will partner with leaders across the organisation, develop dashboards, monitor change readiness and benefits realisation, and contribute to workforce planning and design.

Qualifications

• Experience in people analytics, workforce reporting, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify meaningful trends.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and insights that support decision-making.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present data in a way that is easy to understand and act upon.
• Experience engaging with a range of stakeholders and building trusted relationships.
• A continuous improvement mindset and a desire to enhance workforce intelligence capability across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Delivering workforce analytics, reporting, and insights to support Technology Modernisation and broader enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Supporting workforce planning, organisational design, and workforce impact assessments.
• Analysing workforce trends, capability requirements, employee movement, capacity, and organisational risks.
• Developing reporting and measures to monitor change readiness, adoption, and benefits realisation.
• Translating complex workforce data into clear and actionable insights for leaders and stakeholders.
• Supporting OIA, Ministerial, Parliamentary, and other external information requests by providing accurate, timely, and evidence-based workforce information.
• Identifying opportunities to improve people data quality, reporting capability, and workforce intelligence across the organisation.
• Building strong relationships with leaders, People & Capability teams, and programme stakeholders to support successful change outcomes.
