Job summary

RWR Construction is seeking a Site Engineer for projects in Hawke’s Bay, NZ. The role involves supporting Project Managers and Supervisors on technical delivery and on-site execution, with relocation required to the Hawke’s Bay area.

You’ll work across planning, QA, subcontractor coordination and reporting, while building hands-on experience with our civil infrastructure projects. A Civil Engineering degree and practical site exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Some practical construction experience.
• Attitude and technical ability are important for success.

Responsibilities

• Plan and sequence site activities.
• QA, ITPs and project documentation.
• Construction methodology and temporary works.
• Programme, productivity and cost monitoring.
• Procurement and subcontractor coordination.
• Work directly with site crews.
• Identify and solve construction issues.
• Support commercial and project reporting.
