Job summary

RWR Construction in Auckland is seeking a Site Engineer to join our civil contracting team. You’ll work alongside Project Managers, Engineers and Supervisors and gain hands-on exposure to how projects are built across Three Waters, pipelines, and heavy civil works.

On site you’ll plan activities, manage QA/ITPs, develop construction methodology, monitor programme and costs, and coordinate with site crews and subcontractors. You’ll need strong communication, initiative and ownership of your work.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree required or equivalent.
• Practical construction experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and take feedback.
• Ability to work on site and engage with crews.

Responsibilities

• Plan and sequence site activities.
• Maintain QA, ITPs and project documentation.
• Develop construction methodology and manage temporary works.
• Monitor programme, productivity and costs.
• Coordinate procurement and subcontractors.
• Work directly with site crews and resolve issues.
• Support commercial and project reporting.
