Job summary

Watercare is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Programme Delivery team in Central Auckland. You will provide on-site construction supervision and project engineering support across water treatment projects, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Collaborating with project teams, contractors and operations, you will help integrate assets into the broader operational environment. A strong technical background and hands-on site experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Five years' construction/water/wastewater engineering experience.
• Experience supervising safety and quality across multiple sites.
• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site construction supervision and project engineering support.
• Champion safety and quality to meet standards.
• Support the Project Manager with construction activities.
• Work with project, contractor and operational teams for asset integration.
