Job summary

NZ Post is hiring a Customer Service Officer at Coastlands Retail Park, Paraparaumu. You will deliver exceptional service to customers at front counters and by phone, handling inquiries, bill payments, NZTA transactions, and parcel dispatches across New Zealand and beyond.

This on-call role requires you to assist during peak periods, with heavy lifting involved at times, and provides a pathway to build problem-solving skills in a lively, values-based workplace.

Qualifications

• Be available to work on call as required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on the fly.
• Experience with administration, retail tasks and data entry.
• Confident at interacting with people face-to-face, on phone and via email.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service at front counters and over the phone.
• Process mail, scan freight and assist with sending parcels.
• Support peak delivery periods and cover staff sickness or leave.
