Job summary

New Zealand Post is seeking a Customer Service Officer for the Coastlands Retail Park, Paraparaumu. You will deliver exceptional service at front counters and by phone, handling inquiries, bill payments, NZTA transactions and parcel shipments while promoting our products and services.

The role requires adaptability to on-call shifts, some heavy lifting, and active problem-solving to support customers and ensure smooth operations in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Be available to work on call, as and when required.
• Problem solving skills - can you think on the fly and find the best outcomes?
• Administration, retail and data entry skills
• Confidence to interact with people from all backgrounds face to face, phone and email

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional level of service to manage inquiries, requests or concerns from customers at front counters and by phone.
• Champion NZ Post products and services, such as bill payment, NZTA transactions and parcel sending.
• Process mail, scan freight and small packages from couriers; some heavy lifting may be required.
