Job summary

Colonial Group seeks a Night Manager for Peppers Beacon, Queenstown, to oversee operations from 10:30pm to 7am. You will be the nightly point of contact, ensuring guest inquiries are handled, security is maintained, and the front desk runs smoothly.

You'll supervise night audit procedures, manage late-check-ins/out, and support the day team in readiness for morning operations. A customer-service mindset and independent work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• NZQF Level 1 qualification or compulsory secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Manage nightly hotel operations and ensure safety during shift.
• Deliver continuous customer service during the evening, including check-ins/outs and inquiries.
• Manage reception desk and oversee night audit and reporting procedures.
• Uphold overnight property security standards.
• Assist day team in preparing for morning operations.
