Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking a seasoned Facilities Manager to lead day-to-day FM for a portfolio of key sites across New Zealand. You will oversee maintenance, safety, budgeting, and contractor performance while ensuring compliance with HSE standards.

Strong stakeholder engagement and a proactive approach are essential. You will manage work orders, inspections, and energy-saving initiatives, with a focus on delivering premium service to staff and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in facilities management.
• Proven experience managing contractors and maintenance operations.
• Proficiency in FM applications and related technologies.
• Strong financial acumen including budget preparation and cost management.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels.
• Knowledge of building legislation, life safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, cost-effective FM services across corporate and retail properties.
• Maintain compliance at each site, including BWOF certification.
• Manage all work orders within the portfolio and track thresholds.
• Oversee building inspection programs and annual reporting.
• Lead contractor safety documentation and permit-to-work processes.
• Maintain asbestos management plans and energy saving initiatives.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs and site inspections.
• Prepare consolidated monthly reports on service requests and projects.
